Many will be the wish and hope for ‘a better world’, But

just as great the aim, I see,

our own bravery to unfurl.

Noeleen, in closure of 2012, in view of 2013,

& in thanks of your visits, comments,

& sharing moments with me.

I do wish to credit this artist,

but it was a postcard I bought without purpose YEARS ago – simply for its beauty, imagination, inspiration.

Then years LATER, I had the perfect recipient, wrote on the back, gave it away.

Obviously I couldn’t quite let it go, & took a photo of it.

I knew there’d be another perfect moment to share what it speaks.

To the artist:  thank you.  This is stunningly hopeful, to me.

      Thank you Carolyn :)
Thanks for commenting, for coming by.

I got a download of Audacity, but didn’t know how to save a file as it said it wouldn’t be playable. Am having a difficulty with that – I have a MAC – but thank you for letting me know it exists. That’s so fun! Reading! :)

Noeleen, you have jogged my memory.

I think you need to download ‘Lame’
        http://lame1.buanzo.com.ar/
which is an MP3 encoder.. (Scroll down the page for the Mac download.)

Then, when saving (after creating the audio, and the little save window appears) click on the ‘export’ link. Then save as an MP3… Hope this helps…! :)

Hope is a good thing. Look what one poor woman rape did In India. Made a country change very quickly. Most people are good and desire a better world. No-one want their child to died in war. Thank you for the kind comments on my site. I will return. I’m trying to write two books. I have little time to think and finish. To write a novel is hard work.

Writing a novel certainly is hard work, John. I’m trying to do it outside my day job & raising my son.

John, your story is just gut wrenching, and the way you speak it – God, don’t know how to say it. I’m just really humbled by you, your stance at this stage in your life as opposed to what you were beaten down to in a corner at that start of your life.

I wish good & good & peace for you.

Hello my friend, thanks for your wishes, I send this translation
as promised in English so I hope it helps you from Herluf.

    Friendship is one
    open window of your being.
    I believe in your eyes,
    mirror of your honesty.
    I believe in hand,
    always provide.
    I believe in your arms,
    sincere acceptance of your heart.
    I think your words
expression of what love and hope.
I believe in you, my friend,
    so simple
    eloquence of silence.
    The glory of friendship
    is not the outstretched hand
    or friendly smile
    nor the joy of companionship:
    It is the spiritual inspiration
    when we discover
    that someone believes in us
and is willing to trust us

    The beauty grow on trees

    I could
    call you good

    lose and master.

    Fall. What is your
    intention.

    when the
    not

    greener. should I
    not have been hanging

is on the tree. Should I not have been
    sweeter and sweeter.

    At my branch.

    Why did I
    down and was

    encountered.

    My good
    lose and master.

Herlof, how very gorgeous of you for going to the trouble of translating this. My goodness – thank you so much!!

I appreciated reading it – the contemplation of what to do when friendships are not as “green” or as well. Absolutely, friendship bolsters you, has you feel good, cared for.

Great poem, Herluf – and thank you so much for your trouble :)

      Enormous congratulations, Prenin :)

You could make tiny pamphlets & put them up in your laundromat (we’ve always got heaps of notes up in the launder) or fish & chip shop ‘Local author’s latest release ‘Jabberwell Hunt’ or something. You can go out and tell people & be so damned proud.

I’m so glad for you Prenin :) Smiles forever!!

BOTH ‘Jabberweil Hunt’ and ‘Songs of Angels’ have been published on Red’s site!!!

They are ebooks, one Kindle the other an epub which I assume will run on a PC, but don’t know for sure! :)

I feel like I just jumped without checking my parachute… :)

Hi Noeleen, It is truly a remarkable picture, and one I think we can all relate to. as we walk upon the rope of life we hold in our hands..
I just want to say I so admire your own walk my friend, and it sure is a tight-rope with much balancing to do as we put one step in front of the other..
But its only by loosing our balance that we instinctively straighten up as we wobble now and again…. But with small steps and a sure foot one in front of the other we get to our destination.. One step at a time My friend…
Keep taking those steps which will led you to your destination… its right there before you…
    We will it to be…
And I know we are always given that strength to take those leaps of faith…

Love and Blessings for all your wishes to come into being in 2013 and beyond..
    Love Sue xoxox

That’s a beautiful and intriguing graphic, dangerous feeling, like one wrong move and it’s down the cliff she goes…I guess we all can feel like were walking a tightrope of sorts at times. So a hope that in 2013 we don’t fall off. All the best to you Noelene, may you have a very Happy New Year and a beautiful new year ahead. Big hugs, Nikki

Noeleen, thanks for you parcel …. you brought a warm smile to my New Years Eve.
You’re so right … we all wish for a better world, but we have to start with ourselves first.
I wish you … all the strength for 2013 – and remember that every little step against our goal … matters, even those that we have make backwards. You are in my thoughts.

I like your happy new year to every body! :) You charm me. :)
